Ryan Day believes that Lathan Ransom will be back sometime this season, but not in time for the Michigan game.

Ransom was injured in the Week 9 contest with Wisconsin. Ransom has not played since and accounted for 34 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble.

Not having a veteran presence on defense will hurt the Buckeyes, especially in a big game like Michigan. Luckily, there is still a shot at him coming back at some point during the season.

Ohio State faces Minnesota before heading to the Big House to play the Wolverines. The Golden Gophers sit at 5-5 after dropping their last 2 games to Illinois and Purdue.

Ohio State recently beat Michigan State in its last game 38-3 in Columbus.

The Buckeyes have won 11 straight games in the series with Minnesota. Ohio State has only lost to Minnesota 7 times in the all-time series.

Ryan Day and company will be looking to make it 12 straight wins over Minnesota. Kickoff will be at 4 p.m. ET on BTN.
