Ryan Day admits 'sobering' aspect of Ohio State's hot start to the season
Ohio State heads into the last two weeks of the season still as heavy favorites to win the conference title and return to the College Football Playoff. But according to head coach Ryan Day, all of that is in the rearview mirror until they take care of business these next few weeks and that starts with Maryland.
Maryland has lost two in a row, but that doesn’t mean that the Terrapins cannot give the Buckeyes a good game and Day knows this. His focus right now is to make his team understand that they haven’t completed all their goals yet.
Ryan Day: “We have an opportunity to go 11-0 this weekend and still not have reached one of our goals yet. That’s sobering, but it’s a fact.”
Ohio State's goals are beat Michigan, win Big Ten, win national championship. Says the focus needs to be on Maryland this week, though.

A loss by the Buckeyes would put them in jeopardy of not making the College Football Playoff and depending on a big win over Michigan to get them there.
So the Buckeyes literally can’t take their eyes off the ball these next two weeks to achieve their ultimate goals.
