Ryan Day after beating Maryland by 59: 'We have to hold ourselves to a certain standard'
Ohio State is rolling. It is destroying every team put in front of it.

Day: "We have to hold ourselves to a certain standard. We cannot lose focus." Said he was disappointed in the 13 penalties vs. Maryland.

He mentioned the 13 penalties in that game, too. Ohio State hasn’t been perfect this year. And even against the Terrapins, when many of the starters were out after the first half, there was room for improvement.
The penalties were one area. And, as Day mentioned, his team can’t lose focus. He knows that if Ohio State slips up just once, it can lose out on its chance of making the CFB Playoff. That has happened the last two years, where one loss has kept the Buckeyes out.

Ohio State gets Rutgers this Saturday. The Buckeyes, honestly, won’t have to play at 100 percent to win that game. But that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t play at 100 percent.
The team can’t let up, and this season, it hasn’t shown much of that.
