Ryan Day will have some quality talent at running back to chose from against Notre Dame. He confirmed who will be in the Ohio State backfield per Griffin Strom of Eleven Warriors.
To no one’s surprise TreVeyon Henderson will be getting some touches in the backfield after the season he had last year. Miyan Williams is also expected to see some action, as well as freshman RB Dallan Hayden potentially.
Day says TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams will both definitely play at running back for Ohio State and that freshman Dallan Hayden could play as well against Notre Dame.

Henderson was Ohio State’s leading rusher last season with 1,248 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns. Williams finished just behind him with 578 yards rushing and 5 touchdowns, and will be looking to build on the year he had.
Hayden is the only 1 that Day mentioned who has not yet seen the field for Ohio State. He comes to Columbus from Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, Tennessee. Hayden was a 4-star recruit, No. 24 RB, and No. 8 player from his state in the 2022 class per the 247Sports Composite.
