Ryan Day dodges question regarding botched fake punt vs. Michigan
Ryan Day dodged a question Sunday afternoon about Ohio State’s botched punt attempt against Michigan last weekend.
Ohio State punted in the 3rd quarter while trailing on a play that was supposed to be a fake. Instead, Michigan got the ball. The snapper apparently hiked the ball to the punter when it was supposed to be a fake play, and Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh admitted that it would have likely been a first down.
But Day is not focused on the past.
Ryan Day didn’t want to talk about what happened on the botched fake punt against Michigan: “At the end of the day, it just didn’t get done.”

The Buckeyes have a more important game at hand. Ohio State faces off against Georgia in the Peach bowl in just under a month.
