Smith-Njigba has played in two games so far this season. Williams was not seen at Michigan State due to an undisclosed injury. Babb has not played in a single game yet after suffering an injury in August.
Williams and TreVeyon Henderson have done a good job at rotating in and out of the backfield when needed. They have combined for 933 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns.
We’ll see if Smith-Njigba and Williams will be in the lineup for Week 8 after what Day said.
