Ryan Day insists players, coaches are 'not allowed to have a bad day at Ohio State'
Ryan Day is not satisfied with anything less than good. And even then, he called being “good” just average on Tuesday.
The Ohio State head coach has his Buckeyes playing well as we enter the final stretch of the regular season. During his weekly press conference, he was asked if players and coaches are allowed to have a bad day at Ohio State.
His answer was as you’d expect:
Ryan Day on if Ohio State players and coaches are allowed to have “a bad day” for the Buckeyes:
“You’re not allowed to have a bad day at Ohio State. Any of us. That’s how it goes,” he said. “On your average days, you have to be good. On your good days, you have to be great.”

That’s a healthy attitude to have for a program such as Ohio State, which is as storied as any team in America.
And it’s paid off for OSU. The Buckeyes have a real shot at being the No. 1 team in the first upcoming CFP poll, which will be revealed Tuesday night.
