Ryan Day and Jim Knowles wanted to set the tone for the meeting with Iowa. They both spoke at the Skull Session, and were filmed by Eleven Warriors’ Griffin Strom.

Day highlighted how the team get so much needed rest during the bye week. It has only been a couple of weeks since Ohio State has played at home, but that’s too long for Day.

“It feels like forever since we last played at The Shoe,” said Day. “It certainly feels like forever since we played. During our bye week we got our rest, we identified the things we need to improve on, but in fact it’s time to start playing again. Time to get back to work.”

Knowles brought it too. He addressed TBDBITL accordingly before talking about the matchup. The Ohio State DC made sure to highlight how special Ohio State is.

“These aren’t just any 11 players, these are our 11 warriors,” said Knowles. “The most disciplined, the most skilled, and the toughest (expletive) dudes you’re even gonna be around. And that’s not any stadium, that’s the best (expletive) stadium. That’s our stadium. Close the door, lock the gates.”

It looks like Day and Knowles are ready. Can the Buckeyes avenge the 2017 loss to Iowa?
