Ryan Day, Mickey Marotti pull off April Fool's Day joke during Ohio State virtual meeting

On April 1, head coach Ryan Day and strength coach Mickey Marotti decided to pull a prank on some of the Buckeye players while holding a virtual meeting. The joke? That Marotti was leaving Ohio State football…to join a rock band.
Marotti insisted that being a drummer was his passion, and that he would be chasing this opportunity. He even showed off the drum-set in his home in an attempt to sell the prank.
It wasn’t clear how successful the joke was, but there were probably a few concerns among the players during the meeting. Below is the clip of the prank that Day shared on social media:
We had a team meeting today and Coach Mick gave his farewell to the team. Want to thank him for everything he has done for Ohio St. pic.twitter.com/y5Uvo0d5HK
