Ryan Day praises work of scout team for important role in preparation for The Game
Ryan Day is counting on all of his players ahead of The Game against Michigan. According to Eleven Warriors, the Ohio State head coach mentioned trio of scout team players making contributions this week in practice and throughout the season.
Day recognized Kenyatta Jackson, Hero Kanu and Jackson Kuwatch for their efforts. In particular, Jackson and Kanu were 4-star recruits in Ohio State’s 2022 class. Kuwatch is a walk-on linebacker from the Buckeye state. Talk about a team effort heading into the biggest game of the season.
“They have bright futures ahead of them because of the hard work they are putting in,” said Day. “It’s a huge responsibility. The better the look, the better the offense, defense and special teams play. I think our guys have done a nice job on the scout team this year.”

Day is not taking anything for granted against Michigan. A loss and Ohio State will not only lose to its rival but could be left out of the College Football Playoff.
