In his eighth season as the program’s assistant athletic director for football sports performance, Marotti has been involved with college football for 33 years.

Rejoining the Buckeye program with Urban Meyer in 2012, Marotti was previously with Meyer at the University of Florida from 2005-11. The two first met as graduate assistants at Ohio State in 1987.

Having helped mold 19 All-Americans, ranging from Bradley Roby to Dre’mont Jones, Marotti’s hard work is showing itself this season, too.

Showcasing stars such as sophomore quarterback Justin Fields and running backs J.K. Dobbins and Master Teague, the Buckeyes are averaging 49.3 points and 534.5 yards per game.

Getting to enjoy a bye week, Ohio State will next be in action in Evanston vs. Northwestern on Friday, October 18 (8:30PM ET, FS1).
