Ryan Day is expecting a tough challenge from Michigan State in Week 6.

Ohio State is set to play Michigan State in a pivotal B1G road game. This will be Ohio State’s 1st road game of the season through 5 games.

Ohio State is “expecting a top-10 team” from Michigan State in Week 6. Michigan State was ranked at the start of the season and fell out of the rankings after a recent slide. Michigan State experienced 3  losses in a row to Washington, Minnesota, and Maryland. The Spartans will be looking for its 1st B1G win of the season against Ohio State.

For the Buckeyes, the momentum seems to be on the program’s sideline heading into this weekend’s game. Ohio State has won every game this season by at least 10 points. Ohio State began conference play in Week 4 against Wisconsin and it appears that Ohio State is ready to compete for the B1G Championship. With a 52-21 win over Wisconsin and a 49-10 rout of Rutgers in back-to-back weeks, Ohio State is looking to remain dominant.

Ohio State’s last loss to Michigan State came in 2015. Last season, Ohio State toppled Michigan State in a 56-7 home win. Michigan State is hoping to have more success in East Lansing in this year’s meeting.

Ohio State will be on the road at Michigan State on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on ABC.
