Ryan Day revealed an injury update for Buckeyes backup quarterback Devin Brown Monday evening during his appearance on the Buckeye Roundtable.

Brown suffered the injury on the goal line rush against Penn State. Day told listeners that it was a “lower extremity” injury and would not comment further.

Here’s what he had to say:

“He really went hard on that one play, just didn’t quite get in, and then got twisted up,” Day said. “We’ll kind of see how the week goes, where that’s gonna go. It’ll probably be at least a couple weeks.”

Brown has sat behind Kyle McCord all season and made brief appearances in similar spots for the Buckeyes this season. He scored a touchdown against Purdue and appeared briefly at QB against the Boilermakers and their prior game against Western Kentucky.

Brown has scored 2 passing touchdowns with 1 interception in those relief appearances.

Ohio State is still perfect on the season after downing Penn State Saturday, 20-12. The Buckeyes’ last big test of the regular season comes on November 25 against TTUN in Ann Arbor.
