Ryan Day provides status update on USC transfer LB Palaie Gaoteote
Ohio State rarely gets bad news surrounding its football program, but they did get some disheartening news on Thursday.
Transfer LB Palaie Gaoteote from USC was denied his transfer waiver by the NCAA for this season. If Gaoteote’s waiver had been accepted by the NCAA, he would have been able to play right away for the Buckeyes. Instead, he will have to wait a year.
