This past Saturday, Ohio State blew out Michigan 56-27. The Game may have been in Ann Arbor, and it may have been Ryan Day’s first time as a head coach in The Game, but the Buckeyes didn’t have much trouble downing their bitter rival.

On Tuesday, days after The Game, Day spoke with the media about beating Michigan:
Ryan Day said he was more relieved than happy to beat Michigan.
“It wasn’t even close. I didn’t know what I would feel, but it was absolutely relief."

More relieved than happy? It means that much around Columbus.
Here’s Day talking about the upcoming Big Ten Championship Game and the potential College Football Playoff:
Ryan Day: "I will say that it's nice to be playing indoors after the last four weeks of tough weather." Says he doesn't see it as an advantage for Ohio State to play indoors, though.

OSU coach Ryan Day on speculation of making playoff even with a loss Saturday: "All I know is we have to go win this game, for a lot of reasons. The Big Ten championship game is one of our goals year in year out."

Day’s Buckeyes face Wisconsin at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 7 in Indianapolis. The game will be televised on FOX. Some believe the No. 1-ranked Buckeyes can lose and still make the four-team playoff at the end of the season.
Regardless, Day feels his team has to win that game, too. If Ohio State wants to accomplish all of its goals this season, it will finish 15-0.
Not 14-1.
