Ryan Day reveals he was already thinking about TTUN before MSU game was over
When it comes to The Game rivalry, it’s a year-round affair. Ryan Day even admitted he began thinking about the rivalry showdown before a win over Michigan State was wrapped up.
During Week 12, Ohio State exploded out of the game with a dominant showing vs. Michigan State. The Buckeyes racked up a big showing behind C.J. Stroud’s record-tying 6 touchdown passes. Stroud also set the program record for consecutive completions with 17 in the win.
Now, Ohio State can turn its full attention to facing Michigan in Week 13, but Day has already started thinking about the game. That even started before the final whistle vs. the Spartans.
Ryan Day says “the game wasn’t even over yet and I was already thinking about (next week’s Michigan matchup).”

Day on Michigan-Ohio State: “Everything is on the line.”

The blowout score vs. Michigan State certainly allowed Day the flexibility to think ahead, but it is not often you see a head coach admit to it. Then again, The Game is a different story, and it is definitely a 365 day a year concern.
