Ryan Day had to face something other than Northwestern on Saturday. The weather had a factor in the game.

Day addressed how unique the weather was, describing it as extreme at Tuesday’s presser. Ohio State was forced to change up its offensive game plan because of it.

“One of the more unique things I’ve been around,” said Day. “There’s bad weather and there’s extreme whether. I thought that was pretty extreme.”

If Ohio State is faced with that kind of weather again Day stated that the Buckeyes will definitely run the ball with the quarterback more often.

“If we play in a game like that again, we would probably try to run the quarterback a little bit more, a little bit earlier,” said Day.

Day will be hoping that he doesn’t face any more conditions like Saturday in the near future. Ohio State was only able to have 76 yards passing against Northwestern despite winning 21-7.

We’ll see what the forecast is for Columbus this weekend as Indiana is coming to town on Nov. 12.
