Ohio State coach Ryan Day revealed during his press conference on Sept. 23 that offensive line coach Greg Studrawa has been away from the program for the last couple weeks because of back surgery.

Studrawa has returned to the sidelines this week. While Studrawa was away, Kevin Wilson and graduate assistant Kennedy Cook took his place.

Ohio State is off to a 2-1 start to the 2021 season. Ohio State bounced back from a Week 2 loss vs. Oregon with a 41-20 victory vs. Tulsa. Ohio State hosts in-state opponent Akron on Sept. 25 (7:30 p.m. EST) and the matchup will be televised on the BTN.

Ohio State leads the all-time series 7-1 and is on a four-game winning streak vs. Akron. Akron’s lone victory in the series dates all the way back to 127 years ago, when they notched a 12-6 win in 1894.
