Ryan Day says Chris Olave quietly de-committed during recruiting
The backstories on the recruiting trail can be quite fascinating.
On his radio show on Oct. 21, Ohio State coach Ryan Day revealed star wide receiver Chris Olave quietly de-committed during the recruiting process prior to signing with the Buckeyes.

Olave will be going up against his former high school quarterback, Jack Tuttle, when No. 5 Ohio State comes off a bye week and travels to face Indiana on Oct. 23 (7:30 p.m. EST/ABC).

Olave was a three-star prospect coming out of high school, according to the 247Sports composite. This year, as a senior, has amassed 30 receptions for 494 yards and seven touchdowns for the Buckeyes.
Ohio State leads the all-time series 76-12-5 vs. Indiana and has a 25-game winning streak vs. the Hoosiers.
