Fleming missed the Week 1 game versus No. 5 Notre Dame with an injury after being a game-time decision. Smith-Njigba was injured in the first series of the game against Notre Dame with a reported hamstring injury. He only caught 2 receptions for 3 yards last week.

Smith-Njigba was seen practicing in full pads in practices on Wednesday, but he was seen walking gingerly.

There was no need for the star receivers to come out for the game against Arkansas State. Ohio State accumulated 538 total yards, with 370 of them coming from the passing game.
