Sam Hubbard made a game-changing fumble for the Bengals in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday evening.
With the Chiefs leading 20-13 late in the 3rd quarter, Patrick Mahomes fumbled the ball as he attempted to throw a screen pass.

Mahomes tried to recover his own fumble, but Hubbard beat him to the spot. Here’s the play:

On their ensuing drive, the Bengals went for it on 4th and 6 and converted a 35-yard pass to Ja’Marr Chase inside the 5-yard line. Two plays later, Cincinnati tied the game with 13:30 remaining.
Hubbard is in the midst of his 5th NFL season, all with the Bengals. Including the postseason, that was his 7th career fumble recovery. It’s also his 2nd recovery of this postseason.
The Bengals are attempting to make it back to the Super Bowl for the 2nd consecutive season.
