Curtis Samuel’s NFL career can officially begin…thanks to his mom.
The former Buckeye star didn’t roll up into his first NFL training camp in a new tricked-out ride. Instead, he was dropped off by his mom.
She made sure to send her son off before he started his first big-boy job (she’s in the background in the very beginning):

In fairness, Samuel wasn’t the first NFL rookie to get dropped off by mom. Shoot, he wasn’t even the first former Buckeye to do that. Last year, Eli Apple got a lift from his mom, Annie Apple, before he started training camp with the New York Giants.
On the field, Samuel wouldn’t mind getting his career started like Apple did.
Samuel is expected to have an immediate role in the Carolina Panthers’ offense. The second-round draft pick figures to make an impact playing alongside Heisman Trophy finalist Christian McCaffrey.
Panthers fans probably hope Samuel’s arrival on the field is a bit splashier than his arrival on Tuesday.
