Report: Greg Schiano cited with misdemeanor for hitting bicyclist
Ohio State co-defensive coordinator Greg Schiano got his punishment for hitting a bicyclist with his car last Thursday morning.
According to the Columbus Dispatch’s Bill Rabinowitz, Schiano received a misdemeanor citation for his role in the incident:

Schiano's arraignment in Franklin County Municipal Court is scheduled for 9 a.m. next Wednesday,. Fine is $55 plus $97 in court costs.

The victim, a 26-year-old student, was taken into the hospital in stable condition. He was expected to make a full recovery. Schiano still reported to practice that day.
An Ohio State spokesperson confirmed the initial report and said that the team was still gathering facts on the matter. The team has not commented on Schiano’s punishment.
Schiano is in his first year on Urban Meyer’s staff. Under his direction, the No. 2 Buckeyes are tied for the national lead with four defensive touchdowns.
