Demetrius Knox has likely played his last game with Ohio State.
During Saturday’s game against Michigan, the Buckeyes offensive lineman left the game with an apparent foot injury. Unable to leave the field on his own power, Knox had to be carted back to the locker room, ending his afternoon in Columbus.
On Sunday, Urban Meyer told the media that Knox would miss this weekend’s B1G Championship Game against Northwestern with a Lisfranc injury. However, it appears that the offensive lineman may not return to the field at all for the Buckeyes.
Monday, Knox shared this message on Twitter, thanking Ohio State fans for their support over the years.

It’s an unfortunate end to Knox’s career, if in fact the fifth-year senior is unable to return to the field for Ohio State. He sustained the injury with less than two minutes remaining in Saturday’s game.
Knox started in 20 career games for the Buckeyes, including all 12 games this season.
Redshirt freshman Wyatt Davis is expected to fill in for Knox this weekend against Northwestern.
