Columbus is going to turn into the Midwestern version of Hollywood this weekend, as three popular pregame shows will be in town for the colossal B1G matchup between No. 8 Penn State and No. 2 Ohio State. ESPN’s College GameDay, FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff and BTN Tailgate will all set up shop on OSU’s campus on Saturday.
But there are some fans who will only be welcoming two of those shows to Columbus. This week, some Ohio State faithful are urging fans to boycott College GameDay on Saturday because of the network’s perceived “SEC bias.”
It started with a few tweets following GameDay’s announcement that it would be in Columbus for the top 10 showdown of B1G behemoths. Now, it’s become a trending topic on social media, complete with the #BoycottGameDay hashtag.
Below are some of the tweets urging Ohio State fans to steer clear of the College GameDay set this weekend:
Attention @OhioStateFB fans, I urge everyone to not go to @CollegeGameDay it’s time to boycott @espn let’s go support @CFBONFOX #boycottgameday retweet to support !! https://t.co/PP2QEMDDGP

Actually, why don’t you guys just take the day off and watch how @CFBONFOX and @CoachUrbanMeyer do a quality pregame show. Take some notes, learn from some unbiased professionals.

Everyone should gather round the Fox set instead. Or bring signs telling people to tune into Fox Big Noon Kickoff for intelligent, informed analysis.
