It looks like Shelley Meyer isn’t too appreciative of some of the recent praise for Alabama head coach Nick Saban.

Recently, a video from one of Saban’s past press conferences at Alabama went viral. In the video, Saban drops some wisdom about how to handle the discipline of players.

Saban used the example of ex-Michigan State receiver Muhsin Muhammad to help illustrate his point. He pointed out that most people wanted Muhammad kicked off the team when he ran into some trouble as a Spartan. Instead, Saban disciplined him in other ways but left him on the team, and Muhammad went on to become very successful in the NFL and in the business world.

Saban’s comments have been almost universally praised, but Urban Meyer’s wife, Shelley, seemed to take offense to it. However, her issue was not so much with Saban’s comments. It seems she believes Meyer held similar beliefs and tactics during his time as a coach, but his decisions were not as appreciated as Saban’s:
