Ohio State will take the field against Oregon State on Saturday at noon and head coach Urban Meyer will be watching the game from his couch, serving a three-game suspension handed down by the university.
Ahead of Saturday’s season opener, Urban Meyer’s wife, Shelley Meyer, took to Twitter to thank Buckeye Nation for their support. According to her tweet, she feels confident that fans of the Scarlet and Grey will have a proud showing in Columbus for the Week 1 game.

Urban Meyer is serving a three-game suspension after mishandling the situation involving ex-assistant coach Zach Smith and his history of alleged domestic violence.
Meyer will miss Ohio State’s games against Oregon State, Rutgers and TCU.
