Sights and sounds from Saturday’s B1G parent protest in Columbus

B1G parents were back at it on Saturday, this time in Columbus. Primarily Ohio State parents, fans and a few coaches made their way outside Ohio Stadium on Sunday, protesting the B1G’s decision to cancel the fall football season without any explanation.

Saturday’s event was a follow up to last Friday’s protest in Chicago outside B1G headquarters. Parents from nearly every B1G team have spoken up about the conference’s lack of transparency and communication during the decision-making process.

Parents are hoping to generate a conversation with B1G commissioner Kevin Warren, who has provided limited insight on why the league called off the fall season. Now, parents and players are demanding answers and hoping to get the conference to reconsider its options.
