Stanford Steve came out firing on Thursday. The ESPN betting analyst talked about Ohio State’s projected win total for sports betting purposes.

Ohio State’s projected win total for the season is 10.5 wins. Stanford Steve revealed he is taking the under and believes the Buckeyes will lose multiple games this season during his breakdown with On3 Sports’ Andy Staples.

“Ohio State, there’s a bunch of losable games there. Everybody wants to talk about the wide receiver room, I get it. They’re absolutely outstanding. I don’t worry about the quarterback in a Ryan Day offense, because it’s so friendly and there’s so many things built in for them. I do worry about the offensive line. You’ve got a road trip at South Bend, that’s a losable game. A road trip to Madison, losable game. Penn State always scares Ohio State. There’s a 10.5 out there, I don’t think Ohio State goes in 11-1. I think they lose multiple games.”

Stanford Steve might be down on the Buckeyes but the program still maintains some of the best Big Ten Championship odds entering the season. Interested fans looking to get in on those odds — or the win total for the Buckeyes — can take advantage of our special Ohio sports betting promo code!

The last time that Ohio State wasn’t able to win at least 11 games in a season was back in 2020 during the shortened year. Outside of that, you’d have to go back to 2011, just before the Urban Meyer era.

Stanford Steve will be joining College Gameday this fall as a betting analyst. The role was previously held by Chris “The Bear” Fallica, who is joining FOX Big Noon Kickoff this year in a similar position.
