Ohio State was serving up a beatdown of Iowa on Saturday, but the bands came together to create one amazing halftime show.

Playing Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer”, the bands choreographed a synchronized show featuring two moving “dancers” comprised of band members. Watch the full number below.

Elton John himself surely would have approved of the show, considering OSU has one of the most talented bands at the collegiate level.

The Buckeye band announced last week that the first time in Ohio State Marching Band history, they would be performing a full, joint halftime show with another marching band. The Hawkeyes and Buckeyes met up for a joint rehearsal yesterday.

The halftime performance was just capping off what was an exceptional show on the field Saturday. Last time Iowa and Ohio State met, the Hawkeyes shocked the No. 5 Buckeyes 55-24 at Kinnick Stadium. But the Buckeyes had everything well in hand this time, outscoring the Hawkeyes 54-10 in Columbus.
