Terry McLaurin makes game-changing tackle to save touchdown in Thanksgiving game
Former Ohio State standout Terry McLaurin has been awesome on Thursday vs. the Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to catching a trick play in the first half, McLaurin made a much bigger impact in the second half by chasing down Cowboys linebacker Jaylon Smith to prevent a pick-6.

The Cowboys’ offense responded with two negative plays and a dropped pass, so they were forced to kick a field goal.
That play from McLaurin preserved Washington’s lead heading into the fourth quarter.
According to NextGen Stats, McLaurin reached a top speed of 20.99 MPH to chase down Smith:

His play drew comparisons to DK Metcalf’s chase down tackle against the Arizona Cardinals a few weeks ago.

Entering today’s game, McLaurin had amassed 62 catches for 871 yards and three touchdowns.
Washington has struggled at times this year but are very much in the mix for first place in the NFC East, especially if it can beat Dallas on Thursday.
