Terry McLaurin is playing with yet another quarterback for the Washington Commanders. It hasn’t slowed him down in the early portion of the Week 18 game against the Dallas Cowboys.
So far in 2022, the former Ohio State wideout has played with a pair of QBs in Carson Wentz and Taylor Heinicke. For the season finale, Washington is starting rookie and fifth-round draft pick Sam Howell out of North Carolina.
On the first drive of the game, things could not have gone better for Howell and the Commanders. After a turnover by the Cowboys, Washington started the game deep in the red zone.
Howell’s first pass attempt came on second down, and it was an easy connection over the middle to McLaurin. From there, McLaurin did the rest, gashing the Dallas defense on his way to a 16-yard touchdown.

Entering Week 18, McLaurin has racked up 74 catches for 1,117 yards and 4 touchdowns while playing with multiple QBs. We’ll see what he’s able to do with Howell under center in the finale.
