Tommy Eichenberg, starting Buckeye linebacker, is “not sure” the true status of his hands when asked if they were potentially broken. He also made it clear that it would take a lot for him to not play in The Game.

“It’d take a lot to stop me from playing, especially with this team, this defense,” Eichenberg said via Eleven Warriors. “Everyone that’s still playing football right now, everyone’s battling different things. Everyone has pain every time they’re still on the field. So people have different things they got to deal with.”

Defensive end Zach Harrison after the Maryland game claimed that Eichenberg was playing with two broken hands. Since then, Eichenberg has said that his hands “feel good.” Several other players have made comments on how the injury hasn’t slowed Eichenberg down and that it has very little if any impact on how he’s played the last few weeks.
