Ohio State’s kicking game has received quite the boost.
Tuesday night, Jake Seibert, the No. 1 kicker in the 2020 class announced his commitment to Ohio State. He chose the Buckeyes over offers from UCLA, Michigan State, Air Force, Penn and Temple. Seibert made the announcement via Twitter.
“Thanks to my coaches over the years for teaching me everything they now and giving me a passion for the sport,” Siebert wrote. “Special thanks to Andrew Gantz for coaching me at an ELITE level and helping me get to where I wanted to be! Nobody does it better! With that being said, I’m excited to announce I will be committing to THE Ohio State University!!”

While Seibert doesn’t have any rankings on 247Sports, he’s listed as the top-ranked kicker on ChrisSailerKicking.com.
Seibert is the 10th player to commit to Ohio State’s 2020 class. The Buckeyes currently rank ninth nationally in the cycle and own the B1G’s top class.
