After a slow start against Tulsa, the No. 9 Ohio State Buckeyes got two big scores in the third quarter. While the defense of Tulsa has suppressed the passing game of Ohio State, a new star emerged and made history.

True freshman running back TreVeyon Henderson has currently rushed for 243 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries. Henderson has broken an Ohio State freshman rushing record in a single game surpassing the eventual two-time Heisman Trophy winner in Archie Griffin in 1972.

This achievement continues the impressive long run of successful running backs from Ohio State.

Henderson has the one positive spotlight for Ohio State as they continue to struggle to put away Tulsa.
