TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins are looking like the best running back duo in the country, and Henderson punctuated Saturday’s early performance with a powerful run in the 2nd half.

Ohio State entered Week 4 as a major favorite vs. Marshall though the Thundering Herd were able to hang around at 28-14 entering halftime. However, Henderson provided a nice highlight early in the 2nd half to deliver some breathing room.

The play began with a simple pitch to the left side, and Henderson read his blocking beautifully. One Marshall defender did attempt to bring Henderson down, but a powerful stiff-arm stopped that would-be tackler before the RB rolled down the sideline for the touchdown.

Judkins and Henderson have been the brightest spot for Ohio State in an otherwise sluggish performance for Ryan Day and the Buckeyes. The two stars have rushed for over 220 yards on just 15 carries with 3 touchdowns between them.

That’s the kind of ground game Ohio State wants to see from the offense moving forward. While Will Howard has plenty of talent under center, it is the ground game that will open up the passing attack as the Buckeyes look to maximize their potential on offense.
