TreVeyon Henderson etches name in Ohio State record books after outstanding freshman campaign
Ohio State may not have come out on top of The Game on Saturday, but there was an individual honor worth celebrating in Ann Arbor.
True Freshman RB TreVeyon Henderson scored his 19th touchdown of the season, which broke Maurice Clarett’s freshman record of 18 total touchdowns.

Clarett went to Twitter and congratulated Henderson on breaking his freshman record.

Henderson scored on a swing pass on 4th down to get the Buckeyes within 1 score of the Wolverines.

Ultimately the Buckeyes could not keep the Wolverines from driving down the field and finding the end zone. Michigan won the game 42-27.
Henderson has had an incredible season for the Buckeyes as a true freshman. He has rushed the ball 167 times for 1,172 rushing yards on 7 yards a carry and 15 rushing touchdowns. Henderson had 4 receiving touchdowns as well.
Ohio State finishes the season 10-2 and now awaits its bowl destination for the postseason.
