TreVeyon Henderson speaks about availability for Cotton Bowl, 2024 season
TreVeyon Henderson has made one of 2 big decisions about his future as the Ohio State running back gets set for the Cotton Bowl against Missouri.
Henderson, a 3-year starter told reporters on Wednesday that he will play against Missouri in Friday’s Cotton Bowl. However, he is still undecided about the 2024 season. Henderson will be one of the few known commodities on offense for the Buckeys, who will have a new starting quarterback, and 2 starting receivers are not expected to play.
Henderson rushed for 854 yards and 11 touchdowns this season while he collected a 6.2 yards per carry average. Henderson also contributed 229 yards receiving on 19 catches.

Henderson’s availability is good news for Ohio State after the Buckeyes saw the departures of Evan Pryor and Chip Trayanum to the transfer portal. Trayanum eventually committed to Kentucky. And Miyan Williams opted to enter the NFL Draft. Because of that, Henderson has major potential to have an impact against the Tigers.
