Tulane head coach Willie Fritz had no problem admitting how good Ohio State was after his team suffered a 49-6 loss on Saturday afternoon. He believes the Buckeyes are the best team he’s ever coached against.

Ohio State had little trouble with the Green Wave this weekend, cruising to the 43-point victory to close out the non-conference schedule. The Buckeyes held a 42-6 lead at halftime and quarterback Dwayne Haskins didn’t take a snap in the second half.

For all of us, the win looked pretty easy for the Buckeyes. And while Fritz didn’t say that directly, that’s essentially how it went.

“I have played a lot of good teams over the years and that’s the best football team I have played,” Fritz said.

Granted, Fritz has spent a good portion of his coaching career outside of the FBS level. He hasn’t seen a lot of juggernaut programs in his career. But it’s still a tremendous compliment to Ohio State.

The Buckeyes are now a perfect 4-0 heading into next weekend’s matchup against Penn State. It’ll be a colossal matchup between to unbeatens in the B1G East.
