Ryan Day’s Ohio State staff is having an Easter Sunday to remember. OSU picked up its second commitment of the day when cornerback Dijon Johnson announced his pledge to the Buckeyes.

A Wharton product out of Tampa, Florida, Johnson is listed at 6-1, 190 pounds and rated 4-stars, the No. 29 cornerback, No. 47 Sunshine State product and No. 265 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. Johnson has picked up 26 scholarship offers during his recruitment, including Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State and Rutgers.

Johnson’s pledge comes roughly an hour after Bryson Rodgers committed to play for Day’s program. With Johnson and Rodgers on board, OSU now has 9 commitments in its 2023 recruiting class.
