It didn’t take long for Justin Fields to get into the end zone in his first preseason game. And then he did it again.

Fields made his unofficial NFL debut on Saturday afternoon and got the Bears into the end zone early on in the third quarter. Andy Dalton started the game for Chicago.

Fields is currently in a quarterback battle with Dalton. Dalton is expected to start Chicago’s season-opener, but Fields will likely have an opportunity to overtake him at some point during the season.

Fields’ day ended after the third quarter. He left with the Bears winning 17-13 over the Miami Dolphins. His final line was 14-of-20 for 141 yards and one touchdown. He also ran it five times for 33 yards another score.
