A pair of Ohio State players will be a game-time decision for Thursday’s road clash with Minnesota.

Head coach Chris Holtmann says that Jamari Wheeler and Meechie Johnson will be game-time decisions for the B1G matchup inside Williams Arena, per Eleven Warriors. Both are questionable for different reasons.

Wheeler is battling a foot issue that kept him out of practice. Johnson is suffering from a facial fracture and concussion that he sustained during practice.

Wheeler has started all 16 games for the Buckeyes this season and is logging more than 29 minutes per contest. He’s averaging 7.1 points, 3.8 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.

Johnson will have to wear a protective face guard if he returns for Thursday night’s game. The guard has appeared in 13 games and is averaging 6.6 points in just under 20 minutes of action per contest.

Ohio State enters Thursday’s game with a 12-4 record and is 5-2 in B1G play. The Buckeyes have rattled off consecutive victories over Penn State and IUPUI.

Minnesota sits 11-5 on the year with a 2-5 mark in conference games. The Golden Gophers are coming off a 68-65 home victory over Rutgers.
