Tyleik Williams is coming off his best season at Ohio State, but the impact defensive lineman is not done with the Buckeyes just yet!

In a Wednesday evening announcement, Williams confirmed he’s returning to Columbus for another season in 2024. He’ll bring a veteran presence to the defensive front after an outstanding 2023 season.

“Lastly, I wanna thank Ohio State for everything, the best band and the best fans in the world,” wrote Williams. “Thanks for bringing me in with open arms and allowing me to put on that jersey and represent you all. I’ll never forget the memories I have created. That’s because… I ain’t done making them yet, Year 4 let’s do it!”

During the 2023 season, Williams tied for the team lead with 10 tackles for loss. He also delivered 3 sacks and was among the Buckeye leaders in pass breakups with 5 despite playing on the defensive line.

Williams has been a key contributor all 3 years of his career with 90 career tackles, 19 TFL, 9 sacks and 9 pass breakups. He has a chance to be a game-wrecker in the 2024 season as the defense looks to take another step under Jim Knowles.
