Russell played 4 minutes in Ohio State’s season-opening win over Akron.
The Buckeyes escaped with a win over the Zips thanks to a last-second bucket from Zed Key to push Ohio State to a 67-66 victory. Niagara enters this game at 0-1, falling to Xavier 63-60 on Tuesday.
Young provides the Buckeyes with an element of toughness on both ends of the court. Last season, he averaged 8.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest.
Tipoff between Ohio State and Niagara is set for 7 p.m. ET.
