Ohio State’s sideline was the site of a scary scene on Saturday afternoon during Ohio State’s matchup with Indiana, as head coach Urban Meyer was down on one knee and was surrounded by several staffers.

At the time, it was unknown why Meyer was on one knee, though it was reported that he had a collision with an assistant coach. After the game, Meyer explained that it was a medical issue that causes sudden headaches.

Monday, Meyer was asked about the situation again and provided a little more detail on the issue.

“Well I’ve been dealing with that cyst for a few years, and we had that surgery several years ago,” Meyer said. “When it does take place they give me some medicine and I feel fine now. Just something I’ve got to monitor.”

Meyer suffers from an arachnoid cyst that can cause sudden and chronic headaches. He underwent an operation in 2014.

The medical issue didn’t seem to be a major concern for Meyer following Ohio State’s win Saturday or at his weekly press conference on Monday.
