Urban Meyer names the best atmosphere in CFB, and it isn't Ohio State
Urban Meyer loves everything about Ohio State. As a native of the state, coaching the Buckeyes was a dream job for the three-time national champion.
And though Meyer brought plenty of glory to Columbus — a 7-0 record vs. Michigan, three B1G titles and a national championship — some Buckeye fans may take issue with some recent comments Meyer made.
As FOX Sports prepares for the start of the 2019 college football season, new pregame show analysts Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart and Meyer were asked to describe the best atmosphere in college football. Meyer did not pick Ohio State.

His pick? The Swamp.
That’s right, Meyer says a game at the University of Florida is unlike anything else in college football. The heat, the atmosphere, the fans — all of it amounts to the best environment in the sport.

It was a bit of a surprising pick, considering how much Meyer loves Ohio State. But, The Swamp is known as one of the best environments in college football, so it’s hard to argue with his logic.
