Urban Meyer releases statement to fans following Jaguars' 0-2 start
Well if the measure of a man’s character is how they handle the rough times, we’ll have a good read soon on Jacksonville Jaguars new head coach Urban Meyer.
The Jaguars are 0-2 after the first two weeks of the NFL season, and it hasn’t been an overly encouraging 0-2.
Jacksonville has been outscored by a 60-34 margin, and on offense have been outmatched in yardage gained, 847-584. The season was supposed to be saved with the addition of No. 1 draft pick Trevor Lawrence coming to town, but amidst his 42-of-84 passing and four touchdowns, he’s thrown five interceptions.

Last season’s Jags went 1-15, and the rookie quarterback and new head coach are the future of the franchise, but it looks like the future may be taking a bit longer than many had hoped.
While a good leader would take to the megaphone and try to calm the faithful, sending out a message to “calm down” and stay the course, Meyer took to the modern day version, with a Tweet.
