Urban Meyer responds to rumors relating to USC job
There’s reportedly mutual interest between a current B1G coach and USC for its head coaching vacancy. But what about a former B1G coach who’s now in the NFL?
Urban Meyer, the coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars and former Ohio State coach, is squashing any rumors of him returning to the college ranks.
Meyer claims there’s “no chance” he takes the job at USC:

Meyer has captured three national championships (2 with Florida, 1 with Ohio State) and has posted a 187-32 record as a college football head coach. Meyer stepped away from coaching in 2018 because of health reasons and served as a broadcaster for FOX and the Big Ten Network during his retirement.
Since reaching the AFC Championship Game in 2017, the Jaguars have posted three consecutive losing seasons. In Meyer’s debut, the Jaguars lost its season opener at the Texans.
