Ohio State’s defense should be returning a key outside linebacker in this week’s game against Penn State. At least according to Urban Meyer.

At his Wednesday evening press conference, Meyer said that Dante Booker would make the trip and will play against the Nittany Lions on Saturday. This would be the first time since the Week 1 win over Bowling green that the linebacker would see the field:

Booker, a junior, was expected to return much sooner than the midway point of the season. In last week’s meeting with the media, Meyer said the injury to the linebacker’s knee was worse than what was originally anticipated.

Last year, Booker recorded 22 tackles for the Buckeyes and recorded a career-high five stops against Penn State last year.

Ohio State and Penn State are scheduled to kickoff at 8 P.M. EST from Beaver Stadium.
