Urban Meyer doesn’t care about any other football rivalries. He knows Ohio State-Michigan is the best in the sport.

That’s what the Buckeyes’ head coach said on Monday at B1G Media Days during his press conference. And not many folks from the Midwest would disagree with him.

“I think it’s the greatest rivalry, not just in college football, but in all of the sport,” Meyer said. “It’s tremendous respect, not a lot of like between the two universities, the games incredible.”

Though “The Game” has been a little lopsided recently, last year’s matchup between Ohio State and Michigan was certainly nothing short of sensational. It was a double-overtime thriller that the Buckeyes went on to win 30-27.

It definitely became one of the more memorable meetings of the series.

Overall, Michigan leads the series 58-48-6. But the Buckeyes have really dominated the Wolverines since 2001. Ohio State has won 14 of the last 16, including five straight.

This year, Ohio State travels to “The Big House” to battle Michigan on Nov. 25.
